Today in class, we reviewed our tests. Most of you did not do so well on the ionic compounds portion of the test, so we will retest on this portion on Thursday.
Next we began Unit 1C on solubility.

You must know:
1) What is solubility
2) What are saturated, unsaturated, and supersaturated solutions.
3) Be able to distinguish saturated, unsaturated, and supersaturated solutions from a solubility curve.
4) Know that solubility increases and temperature increases
5) Calculate the amount of solute left undissolved in a supersaturated solution, looking at a solubility curve.
6) Calculate the amount of solute needed to make an unsaturated solution saturated.
